Terms of Service
The service boundaries for TravelPrep, including informational use, affiliate disclosures, warranty disclaimers, and limitation of liability.
TravelPrep provides travel-preparation information, policy summaries, tool pages, and partner entry points. It is not a government authority, airline, border agency, insurer, telecom carrier, law firm, or medical provider.
By using the site, you understand and agree that visa, entry, transit, insurance, and connectivity conclusions should always be re-checked against the latest official authorities, carriers, and actual service providers before booking, purchasing, traveling, or entering a country.
1. Nature of the service
- The site provides travel-preparation information, lookup tools, and navigation to related resources.
- The site may display third-party products, affiliate links, partner entry points, or official-source links.
- The content is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, immigration, insurance, tax, medical, or other professional advice.
2. Your responsibility
- You must independently verify the latest official rules for visas, entry, transit, airports, insurance, eSIM products, device compatibility, and destination-specific requirements.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the travel details and query inputs you use on the site match your actual itinerary and documents.
- You are responsible for deciding whether a third-party product or service is suitable for you, including insurance, connectivity, and other partner offers.
3. Third-party links, affiliate relationships, and transactions
TravelPrep may earn affiliate commissions or referral fees, but that does not mean we guarantee any third-party product, service, pricing, stock, underwriting result, claim outcome, signal quality, or eligibility.
Any purchase, policy issuance, activation, refund, claim, cancellation, or dispute involving a third-party merchant, affiliate network, insurer, telecom provider, or partner is solely between you and that third party.
4. No warranties
- We do not guarantee that site content is always complete, accurate, error-free, uninterrupted, current, or continuously available.
- We do not guarantee that any result page, tool page, FAQ, recommendation, or policy summary applies to your precise passport type, route, departure point, transit airport, or special situation.
- We do not guarantee that third-party pages, affiliate links, prices, coverage, availability, or service quality will remain valid or unchanged.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TravelPrep and its operators, authors, maintainers, and partners will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from your use of, reliance on, or inability to use the site.
This includes, without limitation, denied boarding, denied entry, visa refusal, insurance claim denial, failed eSIM activation, missed flights, trip cancellation, lost data, lost profits, accommodation losses, medical expenses, third-party charges, or other travel-related damages.
If a jurisdiction does not allow certain exclusions, the above limitation applies to the maximum extent permitted in that jurisdiction.
6. How to read result pages and policy summaries
- Result pages and tool pages are support tools based on public information, internal rules, and the current product design. They are not final official approvals.
- Policies may change without notice, and decisions may vary across airports, airlines, insurers, border staff, or case-specific review.
- Final authority for visas, entry permission, underwriting, claim decisions, and connectivity activation remains with the relevant official authority or third-party provider.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, limit, or remove any site feature, page, partner entry point, or content at any time without prior notice.
We may also revise these terms due to policy changes, technical needs, business arrangements, or compliance requirements.
8. Intellectual property
- Unless expressly permitted by law or authorized by us, you may not copy, republish, scrape at scale, resell, or commercially exploit the site's content, brand elements, design, or data organization.
- Third-party trademarks, brand names, product names, and official-agency names remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Prohibited use
- You may not use the site for unlawful activity, abusive automation, disruption, bypassing security controls, or misleading third parties.
- If we detect abuse, attacks, or unlawful behavior, we may restrict access, retain evidence, and cooperate with legal process.
10. Updates to these terms
When these terms change, the revised date on this page will be updated. Continued use of the site after an update generally means you accept the revised terms.
